So I may be a bit overly excited about this one. Even though couple was absolutely incredible, and when the baby is born I get to do it’s newborns (YAYY!!), this was my second maternity session… and I LOVED it! I don’t get a lot of questions about maternity photography, but I definitely would want to do it again! This couple was amazing to work with! I love Pinterest for a bit of inspiration before sessions, and they went right along with my crazy ideas and posing. I laughed when Emily sent me a picture of them after we decided where to meet so I’d know what they looked like. My response was, I think I’ll find you since I doubt there will be many other women people around! Well sure enough I walked up to the meeting spot a little early, saw a lady I thought could possibly be pregnant, and was so glad Emily had sent me the picture (and no, it wasn’t Emily!)!
I had looked at many maternity photos, and got so excited Emily chose a turquoise maxi dress!! They had specifically wanted to have the session around golden hour during that soft sunset (yes please!!), and I think we nailed it. We shot a bit in the shade waiting for the sun to go down a bit more, and towards the end we were walking around trying to find a great place with the sunset showing through (last few photos!). I’m so glad I’ll get to work with the 3 of them again in the near future- because when the baby is born, guess who gets to do her newborns?? You got it! I had so many favorites from this session, so enjoy this beautiful downtown maternity session!
